Jen is a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Toronto, Canada. She was in town for New York Fashion Week and booked a 2 outfit session with me at Riverside Park! The Upper West Side is such a fun place to shoot. It’s classic Manhattan with all the beautiful architecture, taxi cabs, and gardens. Jen was so kind, easy to work with and a dream to photograph! Interested in booking your own session? Check out my package options here! images were taken with a canon 5d mark iv + sigma 35mm art lens.

Ella is a photographer and was in New York City visiting from Twin Cities, Minnesota this past week. She booked a mini session to update her photography website and branding images. I was so happy to capture her and her Canon.
While in Paris my New York neighbors Mary Beth + Ryan who you might recognize from our Upper East Side couple photoshoot this spring were also in town. They are my favorite married couple to photograph and the Eiffel Tower made the perfect backdrop. I photographed them half on digital and half on film. For those curious, I have the film photographs captioned if you hover over the images. Scroll to the bottom of this post to watch the photography behind the scenes tutorial!
Film camera was Minolta X-7300 and the Minolta 50mm F/1.7 lens + Kodak Portra 400.
You might recognize Jasmine from our monochromatic green golden hour photoshoot! This weeks video is in partnership with Squarespace. I share another tutorial for shooting during the difficult lighting of dusk/blue hour, which is becoming one of my favorite times of day to shoot. Jasmine is my friend and not a signed model, so in this video I also share how easy it is to pose friends/clients who don't have a ton of experience in front of the camera.
