Spring Cherry Blossom Portrait Photoshoot at Washington Park Arboretum | UW Botanic Gardens Seattle

Springtime in Seattle brings so many incredible blooms, and Washington Park Arboretum is hands down one of the absolute best spots in the city for photos. Also known as the UW Botanic Gardens, this massive urban oasis fills with huge magnolia trees and pink cherry blossom trees every spring. It gives you that iconic Pacific Northwest bloom backdrop without the intense crowds you usually find over at the UW Quad.

For this spring portrait photoshoot, we explored the winding park paths lined with white and pink blossoms. Having both magnolias and cherry trees right in the same area created so much variety in the background while keeping every shot soft, bright, and colorful.
