Summertime Portrait Session at Discovery Park | South Meadow Field Photoshoot in Seattle

Discovery Park is one of my absolute favorite spots for summer portraits in Seattle, especially if you head over to the south side of the park. Instead of the usual beach or lighthouse backdrop, this area opens up into a giant grass field that gets the most incredible open light.

I photographed this session right as the summer tall grass was golden and full. The huge meadow gives you so much space to move around, creating a laid-back, sun-drenched vibe that feels completely removed from the city while staying right in town.
