Basics of Using Meta Ads for Your Photography Business with Daria of Yellow Iris Marketing.

In this Build and Bloom photography podcast episode, I am bringing in my Meta ad expert Daria! Meta is the umbrella which Facebook and Instagram live under. Daria and I have worked together for a handful of years. She goes beyond the ads; she helps me strategize a marketing plan so that the ads perform their absolute best.

Daria is on a mission to support women making more money and amplifying their impact with Meta ads while living a life of freedom and abundance.

In this episode, she will cover the basics of Meta ads. Daria will discuss when to know when you are ready to start running ads, the latest trends in Facebook and Instagram ads, and how to get started with ads.

"There are three types of audiences we have with Meta ads: one is your "custom audience." So that is anything that is connected to you. That would be your email list, which you can upload and target your Instagram and your Facebook page following. So that is your custom audience, then there is a "lookalike audience." The lookalike audience is where you ask the algorithm to find more people similar to your existing audience.

Finally, we have an "interest audience." An interest audience is where you can get creative in who you target age, gender, age those basic things.

Also, we can see if we have some prominent photographers in the area, and we can target people interested in their photography. We can also target people who are recently engaged and people who are interested in weddings.

The beauty of the "interest audience" is that it doesn't matter your niche; there's interest for you."
