Cherry Blossom Engagement Session in Central Park

This photoshoot is one of the all-time favorites I’ve ever done! The cherry blossoms were at their absolute peak in NYC. I had just wrapped up a college graduation session at the bow bridge in Central Park East. Up on top of the hill near the Friend’s fountain sits the plumpest white cherry blossom tree in all of Manhattan. My soul left my body as I scrambled to text Laura to see if she and her husband Scott could come from Brooklyn to Manhattan during golden hour. Thank God they were available and we had a blast during this session! Golden hour bled into a blue hour, one of my favorite times to shoot. I returned back to this spot for another photoshoot with my roommate and her boyfriend the next day because it was that good!

Heads up, I’ll be back in NYC in October! I live in Seattle and am always booking in Western Washington. I’ll be back in NYC in October and Nashville in the fall. Discover my packages and pricing here!

I used this camera for the photoshoot, this 35mm lens (buy it used here!), and this 50mm lens (buy used here, too!).
